B-SMART workshop in Rome

The B-SMART consortium, together with the EU-funded H2020 project STARBIOS2 and under the lead of B-SMART partner IBI, is organising the joint dissemination initiative “Alzheimer’s disease: from RNA research to active therapeutics”. The two European research projects B-SMART and STARBIOS2 come together to showcase their work, specifically focussing on the social impact of their innovative research. The workshop will take place at the Aula Anfiteatro of the Policlinico Tor Vergata on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 11:00 - 14:00.

The goal of this workshop is to discuss the current clinical aspects and requirements: what is already done and what is needed to treat neurodegenerative diseases in the current clinical practice? And what can research do to ensure a safe transfer of their scientific results to the clinic?
