Laying the foundation for the last year
Once more the B-SMART consortium gathered online for their 9th Progress Meeting which was followed on the day after by another Review Meeting, the third now during the project lifetime. The meeting took place on June 15-16, 2021.
On the first meeting day, the consortium discussed the progress of the last months internally and presented the work in the different themes of the project. The partners also planned the next steps in the last project year: due to the delays encountered because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project has been granted a project extension of six months. B-SMART will now come to a close in June 2022.
On the second meeting day, the consortium was joined by their EC Officer and an external monitoring expert for the review meeting. Both guests were impressed with the progress of the project, but they also highlighted the need for the B-SMART consortium to not only meticulously plan the last months of the project but also to prepare and think about how to benefit from the project results after its lifetime.
